Gluten-free labeling for medicine is almost a reality! But you need to sign this bill TODAY for it to happen. To move the bill ahead we need bipartisan cosponsors by May 8!
Ohio Congressman Tim Ryan and New York Congresswoman Nita Lowey have introduced legislation that will require drug manufacturers to label the source of drugs’ inactive ingredients. This means we will actually know what is in our medicine and if it contains gluten.
To move the bill ahead we need bipartisan cosponsors by May 8! All five of the national Celiac organizations are united in support of this legislation. Now you need to let your members of congress know that this is an important issue. Gluten in medicine must be labeled so individuals and their healthcare providers can make an informed, safe choice.
Tell your State Representative to support this legislation now!

I believe gluten should be clearly on the labels as peanuts are….easy to read. Also it should be able to be put in our medical records at the pharmacies as an allergy so they have to check as well. I have had so many tell me they have no clue…
