For many years many people in the gfree community have asked me to start a blog to share my personal ideas about gfree living. I founded the Gluten Free Cooking Expo in 2007, teach GF cooking classes and my entire family is GFree. We also don’t eat dairy and I don’t eat corn, cane sugar, tomatoes and mushrooms. (Even our dog is gfree!)
In 2009, I formed a local GIG chapter, Gluten Intolerance Group of Greater Chicago. For more information on the chapter, go to our website at www.chicagoglutenfree.com.
My hope for this site is for it to be a resource for all of your gfree cooking needs. I also hope that families will be able to use the site to help with travel, dining and the ever-daunting school process. So far, my family has survived the school system, even with our gfree needs.
I hope you enjoy the site and will let me know if you need something you can’t find here. I am always trying to improve things. You can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
